We create innovative, scalable sustainable finance solutions and frameworks that turn strategy into action, drawing on our deep experience and trusted network of expert partners.
We help our clients rethink business as usual, designing approaches that align impact ambitions with financial goals throughout the investment process.
Here are some examples of the kinds of support our clients have asked us for.
Sustainable Investment Strategies
To drive positive change internally and invest with impact globally, defining and embedding a clear vision and roadmap is essential.
We review current approaches and organizational context to design or refresh bespoke impact investment strategies, policies, and sustainability governance frameworks.

We advised a London-based asset management arm of a pan-Gulf Cooperation Council bank on the development of a sustainable investment framework.
This work culminated in the launch of an Article 9 corporate bond fund, aligned with best-in-class impact standards.
Thematic Funding Criteria
To issue a thematic bond, eligible projects must signal a commitment to sustainability and capture the interest of international investors.
We develop and assess sustainability criteria for green, social and sustainability-linked funding products, ensuring they meet standards such as the ICMA Principles and align with taxonomies.
-
We supported an international financial institution with identifying potential sustainability-linked metrics to integrate into sustainability-linked finance product offerings for clients in the transport sector, reflective of best practice but also aspirational.
Impact Verification Methodologies
To demonstrate credibility and ensure investments deliver their intended positive outcomes, a robust impact verification process is key.
We establish verification criteria, develop scoring methodologies, and assess both the potential and actual impact of investments, aligning with leading international standards.
-
We supported an international financial institution with introducing and expanding its Sustainable Fixed Income Strategy, formalizing a framework to ensure a robust, credible and scalable strategy.
Our work included creating an impact verification methodology for issuers and bonds, assessing the sustainable performance of potential investments, and developing an impact reporting process to enhance transparency.
Investor Engagement Frameworks
To align investor goals with those of investees and influence real-world outcomes, active engagement is integral and must be strategic.
We build tailored frameworks that help investors prioritize engagement topics, set goals, and maximize the impact of their dialogues with investees.
-
We worked with the Treasury department of a multilateral development bank to develop guidance materials on engaging issuers on sustainability topics, including advice on key issues, engagement timelines, and progress tracking.
Training and Coaching
To strengthen internal capacity and secure senior-level buy-in, teams need a deeper understanding of sustainable finance.
We deliver practitioner-led sessions on impact investing, emerging trends and regulatory regimes – going beyond theory to how sustainability works in practice.
-
We led a series of training sessions for a multilateral development bank, attended by team members globally.
The sessions focused on understanding sustainable investing and navigating the emerging institutional landscape in fixed income.
Impact Reporting Processes
To track progress, enhance accountability, and communicate results, investors need clear and consistent reporting.
We advise on impact measurement and reporting frameworks – defining KPIs, selecting data providers, and designing templates aligned with evolving standards and regulations.

We reviewed the Sustainable Development Bond Impact Report of a multilateral development bank, recommending improvements, including identifying opportunities to better align with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Our analysis also aligned the sectoral classification of projects with the sectors in the ICMA Green Bond Principles.
Research and Insight

We conduct in-depth research and engage with stakeholders to generate innovative insights and practical solutions that advance sustainable finance.

We researched and authored an investor guide, Sustainable Indigenous Finance: Navigating the Energy Transition, developed in collaboration with US SIF and First Peoples Worldwide.
